横手市生涯学習館Ao‑naは、横手市駅前に2024年にオープンした市民の交流と学びの拠点です。館内には横手図書館をはじめ、コミュニティスペース、ティーンズエリア、屋内アクティブエリア、スタジオなど多様なスペースが備わり、読書や勉強、イベント、スポーツ活動など幅広い世代が集い、つながりを深めることができます。

Ao-na (Yokote City Lifelong Learning Center) is a modern community hub in front of Yokote Station that opened in 2024. It houses the Yokote City Library along with open community spaces, a teens area, active indoor zones, and a multi-purpose studio, providing places for reading, study, events, and activities for all ages. As a cultural and learning center, Ao-na supports connections among residents and visitors alike.

横手公園展望台は、横手城跡の二の丸に建つ天守閣様式の展望施設です。4階の展望室からは、広大な横手盆地、横手川の流れ、そして雄大な鳥海山などの四季折々の風景を一望できます。内部には郷土資料展示もあり、地域の歴史や文化にも触れられます。冬季は閉館しますが、2月の「横手の雪まつり（かまくら）」期間には臨時開館し、雪景色の中の展望も楽しめます。

Yokote Park Observatory (Yokote Castle) sits atop the remains of Yokote Castle in Yokote Park. The castle-style observation deck offers panoramic views of the Yokote Basin, Yokote River, and Mt. Chōkai throughout the seasons, and the interior displays local historical exhibits. The observatory is normally closed in winter, except during the Yokote Kamakura Festival in February when it reopens for visitors to enjoy winter scenery.

株式会社大納川は秋田県横手市大森町にある歴史ある酒蔵です。1914年に創業し、地元産の「秋田酒こまち」などを原料に、伝統的な秋田流寒仕込みで手造りの日本酒を醸しています。「飲んで酔うだけでなく、心を酔わす酒を造る」という理念を大切にし、純米酒・純米吟醸・純米大吟醸など、地域の風土を映した多彩な銘柄を提供しています。観光での見学や直売も可能で、地元住民や日本酒ファンに親しまれています。

Dainagawa Co., Ltd. is a historic sake brewery in Ōmori-machi, Yokote City, founded in 1914. Brewing traditional sake using local rice such as Akita Komachi and cold fermentation methods, the brewery embodies the philosophy of crafting sake that “not only intoxicates the body but also the heart.” Its range of junmai, junmai ginjo, and junmai daiginjo sake reflects the region’s terroir, and tours and direct sales offer visitors a taste of local craftsmanship.

横手市ふれあいセンターかまくら館は、年間を通して横手の伝統行事「かまくら」を体感できる施設です。常時マイナス10度ほどに保たれたかまくら室では、雪の小屋の空間が楽しめるほか、コンサートホールやサンルーム、物産展示・販売コーナー、市民広場などを備えた複合施設として、観光情報の発信や地域交流の拠点となっています。館内には観光案内所も併設され、横手の文化と魅力を紹介しています。

Yokote City Fureai Center Kamakurakan is a cultural facility where visitors can experience Yokote’s traditional “kamakura” snow houses year-round in a chilled gallery space. In addition to the kamakura exhibit, the center includes a concert hall, sunroom, souvenir and specialty goods corner, and citizen plaza, serving as a hub for tourism information and community exchange in Yokote.
